FAQ
The follow instructions will walk you through the process of configuring OSX Mail for use with ZeroLag's e-mail services. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
1. Open Mail. It will bring you to your Inbox.

2. In the Mail menu, select the Preferences option.

3. To add a new account, click on the + icon in the bottom left corner.

4. Ensure all fields on this screen are correct.
Account Type: Should always be POP.
Account Description: Should always be zerolag.com.
Full Name: This can be set to anything, but it is recommended that you use your full name, such as John Smith.
Email Address: This should be your ZeroLag-supplied e-mail address, in the format of user@yourdomain.com.
After reviewing the information on this screen, click Continue.

5. Ensure all fields on this screen are correct.
Incoming Mail Server: This should always be pop.zerolag.com.
User Name: This is provided by ZeroLag, and is in the format of prefix dash user.
Password: This is also provided by ZeroLag.
After reviewing the information on this screen, click Continue.

6. Ensure that SSL is unchecked and Authentication is set to Password, and then click Continue.

7. Ensure all fields on this screen are correct.
Outgoing Mail Server: Your ISP (the company that connects your computer to the Internet) should provide you with an SMTP (outbound e-mail) server. You should contact your ISP and find out the name of the SMTP server and whether or not it requires authentication.
Use Authentication: If your ISP's Outgoing Mail Server requires authentication, then check this box. If it does not require authentication, you will not need to fill out the next two fields.
User Name: This is provided by your ISP.
Password: This is also provided by your ISP.
After reviewing the information on this screen, click Continue.

8. Ensure that SSL is unchecked and Authentication is set to Password (if your Outgoing Mail Server requires it), and then click Continue.

9. Review your settings and then click Continue.

10. Your account is now set up. Click Done.
